NASHVILLE, TN- After months of writing with some of Nashville's top songwriters, Lauren Ashley has began production on her new EP with producer, Jasen Rauch. 

The EP will feature five songs that Lauren Ashley co-wrote with leading songwriters to release a new sound to country music: a mixture of country, swamp, pop, and rock topped with Lauren Ashley's distinguished country vocals. 

EP producer, Jasen Rauch brings a unique vibe to Lauren Ashley's EP. With hit artists such as Breaking Benjamin and Red on his roster of productions, Rauch and Ashley's project will be catchy, upbeat, and unique combined with the industry's top musicians contributing to the vibe.  With Jay Gorman, known from Kelly Pickler's band, tracking bass, and Lester Estelle, Kelly Clarkson's lead drummer as the head studio musicians, the team has mastered a top-notch group to find the specific targeted sound for Lauren Ashley's EP. 

A exclusive duet with a top male artist will also make the EP, and will be announced soon.

NASHVILLE, TN- Nashville recording artist, Lauren Ashley will take the stage this Thursday, June 12th, at 12th & Porter in Nashville, TN. Lauren Ashley will be performing original songs off of her upcoming album. Lauren Ashley joins contemporary southern-rock band, Stone Senate for this Nashville concert. Doors open at 7PM, and the concert will begin at 8PM. The venue is for ages18 & up, and tickets are $5.00. 

About Lauren Ashley:

Born in Griffin, Georgia, 22-year-old Lauren Ashley’s music is well rooted with rock and country influences. Growing up listening to a mix of rock and country music, Lauren Ashley would soon develop her own unique style as an artist and performer: country with a touch of rock n’ roll.

Lauren Ashley and Peter Klett, from the band Candlebox teamed up last week in Tampa, Florida for a co-write at Lala Mansion Studio. Klett, who is a former member of the band Candlebox now resides in Tampa, Florida where he is currently a producer. Ashley and Klett co-wrote "Oxygen", a catchy beach- tune about a fiery summer romance.

"Drink Or Drown" was written by Lauren Ashley, Adriene Smith, and Greg Crowe. Crowe, a multi-platinum songwriter with hits from Montgomery Gentry, Lonestar, and Adam Gregory, joined Lauren Ashley on stage for an exclusive live performance of "Drink Or Drown".

Last week, Lauren Ashley was busy in the studio writing and recording with multi-platinum songwriter and producer, Jasen Rauch. "Not Right Now" was written and recorded by the dynamic pair. "The song is an upbeat party-tune about enjoying life and not growing up too fast." said Lauren Ashley. "With Jasen's creative songwriting and production, we were able to create a fun, feel-good song."

Jasen Rauch co-wrote and has worked with bands such as Breaking Benjamin, Pillar, Kerrie Roberts, Brian "Head", Welch, Stars Go Dim, Fireflight, 12 Stones, Disciple and with Rob Graves in making a score for the film, Into the Darkness.  His multi-platinum award winning songwriting and production in the rock industry, paired with Lauren Ashley's country sound to produce "Not Right Now" which can be heard on Lauren Ashley's upcoming album.

Lauren Ashley collaborated with multi-platinum songwriter, Skidd Mills at Sound Kitchen Studio in Franklin, TN. Lauren Ashley & Mills used their edgy influence to create an upbeat country tune, "Can't Drink You Off My Mind". 

Skidd Mills is a songwriter and producer based out of Nashville, TN. Skidd started Skiddco Music LLC in 2005, and since then has worked with well-known acts such as Teanus (Bieler Bros.), Brent James, Deepfield, Lish Gates, Sister Hazel, Third Day, and Saving Abel.
